Human papillomavirus (HPV) screening
HPV is found in almost 100% of cervical cancer cells, so it is the major cause of cervical cancer. The testing methods of HPV screening is that, the doctor will only take a little bit of epithelial cells from the uterine cervix to the testing tube then send the sample to the laboratory to extract DNA, amplify the viral DNA and compare the viral DNA sequences. So, that is why it is a very sensitive and accurate testing method.
