Treatment for Delay of Growth and Puberty
For psychological and health reasons, it is important for teenagers to grow up and change appearance normally during puberty. Teenagers can be anxious seeing their peers going through changes of body and appearance while they are not.

Treatment should start at the normal age of puberty (girls at the age of 11; boys at the age of 12). Or, intervention is required if there is no spontaneous manifestation when girls reach 14 years old and boys reach 14.5 years old (upper limit of puberty starting). The proper therapy is using testosterone or estrogen to trigger the changes of appearance. The appropriate dose of treatment is assessed by professional doctors.
